Digital Data and Audio Recorder

The Digital Data and Audio Recorder (DDAR) records the analog audio inputs receiving from four monitoring receivers, four operator mikes and data inputs from two Ethernet LANs and two RS-232 Ports and four voice annotation for data channel. The four monitoring receivers and the four operator mikes are connected with OPICOM that in turn connected to DDAR. The digitized audio signals or Ethernet data or RS-232 data are stored as separate audio and data files on the hard disk. It uses an inbuilt hard disk as a primary storage medium for record and replay. CD R/W drive is also provided for backup and restore. RAID configuration is provided for data redundancy (RAID1 - data mirroring) with two hard disks. DDAR supports audio and data compression for recording and on the fly replaying of the compressed audio/data files. While recording is in progress in one channel, operator can replay an existing file on a different channel. Two-row LCD display is provided to display the activity of the DDAR. VGA on LAN is also available to trouble shoot the DDAR using a Laptop/PC over LAN.

DDAR is capable to
